DESKTOP PRE-FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR WIND POWER ESTIMATION FOR 150 MW WIND POWER PARK CONNECTED TO 110 KV TRANSMISSION NETWORK

This purpose of this study is to make a “land banking” exercise to secure sites for future solar development and to also define the optimal strategy for the phasing of the construction of this 150 MW solar park taking into consideration a 50 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) around Soma and connection to the transmission network.

Consultant shall use PSS/E and NEPLAN software to meet the expected objectives of this assignment.

Project financed by World Bank.

Main scope of services:

  • Preparation of integration study (load flow and voltage plan study) in the network;
  • Preparation of analysis of the impacts of the production of the solar parks on the stability of the network carried out on a static and dynamic modelling of the network;
  • The modeling of the national network includes existing generators, lines and substations;
  • Traffic technical analysis point of view of power flow, voltage profile, short-circuit currents and protection, harmonic and transient stability;
  • Use of PSS/E and NEPLAN software.
