TECHNICAL DUE DILIGENCE – REVIEW OF DOCUMENTATION AND SITE INSPECTION FOR sHPPs DJOLE

The scope of works comprises technical (covering all engineering, environmental and social disciplines) review of complete permitting procedures and related designs, studies, examinations for 8 sHPPs in Macedonia.

The Consultant will employ to conduct technical due diligence on the eight small Hydro Power Plants. The review will encompass five key tasks, focusing on the following key areas:

Task 1: Review of Permitting Procedure

• examination of the permitting procedures for all eight sHPPs and their associated infrastructure
• overview and summary of current regulations governing small hydro power plants, including grid connection, environmental considerations
• detailed summary of all issued permits, conditions, and approvals

Task 2: Review of Design, Studies, Plans and Examinations, including:

• Initial concept, infrastructural, and urbanistic designs and plans
• Main design documents
• Detailed and execution design documents
• As-built design documents

Task 3: Review of Records, Documents and Measures related to Operation Phase including:

• Preventive maintenance records and reports
• Documentation and inspection reports related to fire prevention measures
• Records of emergency plans and drills conducted at the plants
• Occupational health and safety (OH&S) records and reports
