PRE-FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR A POTENTIAL WPP IN EASTERN PART OF NORTH MACEDONIA

The main objective of the services was performing a Pre-Feasibility Study related to the development of WPP in eastern part of North Macedonia. The installed power of the plant is 56MW connected to the transmission system by 110 kV overhead line (OHTL).

Main Scope of work:

• Performing site visit and description of the location
• Wind resource analysis (using Windfarmer)
• Review and selection of recent wind turbine generators
• WPP infrastructure, including WTG positioning and optimization, internal cabling, connection to the grid and SS location
• Calculation of annual energy production (AEP), system losses, probabilistic forecast of energy output
• Electricity market analysis and forecast of electricity price trends
• Financial Analysis and economic implications including CAPEX & OPEX estimation, financial modelling, sensitivity analysis
