DEVELOPMENT OF THE ENERGY SECTOR VII – IMPROVEMENT OF TRANSMISSION NETWORK
NORTH MACEDONIA: DEVELOPING ENERGY TRADING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS FOR ESM
The Project concerns the rehabilitation and modernization of parts of the 110kV and 220kV transmission network of KOSTT. As part of this development effort, the following Project measures are foreseen, separated in 7 Lots:
- LOT 1: Construction of a new Substation
- Construction of the new SS 110/35/10(20) kV Dragash with 1×40 MVA power transformer
- Installation of a variable shunt reactor (VSR) 400 kV / 100 MVAr in substation Ferizaj 2;
- LOT 2: Supply and installation of equipment to adopt Local SCADA (RTU & SCS);
- LOT 3: Replacement of existing SCADA/EMS system for KCS and EKCS;
- LOT 4: Migration to advanced telecommunication systems with IP-MPLS;
- LOT 5: Design, Supply, and Installation of power transformers (WBIF Option)
- LOT 6: Transmission Lines and Underground Cables (Partially WBIF Option)
- LOT 7: Revitalisation and Reinforcement of 110kV Line Segments (IPA Option)
