CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE DURING OBTAINING THE STATUS OF STRATEGIC INVESTMENT PROJECT FOR 100 MW CO-GENERATION POWER PLANT IN NORTH MACEDONIA

The objective of this assignment is to ensure the project with the status of strategic investment project by providing high-quality consultancy services that understand support in preparation, delivery and submission of corresponding documents with the relevant authorities in the Republic of North Macedonia.

Main scope of services:

• Overview of the national electricity market;
• Support in the application for strategic investment project;
• Support in drafting the strategic investment agreement between the Investor and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia;
• Ensuring alignment of the draft agreement with the legal and regulatory framework in North Macedonia;
• Support in drafting the PPA for sale of the generated electricity;
• Support in drafting the Contract for heat delivery with the Operator of the heat distribution network;
• Support in drafting the law on the strategic investment status for the project, based on the concluded strategic investment agreement;
• Providing weekly update of the Client for the project status, applications, document submissions, issued documents, approvals, permits as well as deviations and omissions that could arise;
• Preparation and submission of a report covering the period in which the services were delivered and including description of the performed activities and achieved milestones.
