400 KV TRANSMISSION INTERCONNECTION LINE ”SS SHTIP – MACEDONIAN/SERBIAN BORDER” AND 400KV TL BAY IN SS SHTIP

The objective of the consultancy services was to provide technical support for procurement of relevant services and goods for construction of interconnection transmission line that would ensure security and reliability of the transmission system operator’s network.

• Construction of a new 400 kV overhead TL from 400/110 kV S/S Shtip (Macedonia) to the Macedonian/Serbian Border (Interconnection with the already constructed overhead TL S/S Nis (Serbia) – to the Macedonian/Serbian Border)
• Extension of the existing 400/110 kV substation in Shtip (Macedonia) with one Line Bay

Main scope of services:

• Development of Project Management Plan;
• Preparation of Project Monitoring Program and project procedures;
• Monitoring of the financial plan and disbursement schedules;
• Review of technical requirements of the Tender Documents;
• Assistance in Tender evaluation and Contract negotiations;
• Assistance in preparation of Environmental and Safety reports;
• Clarification of technical issues with regard to specifications and approve construction drawings;
• Assistance to the PIU in the course of the Project implementation;
• Assistance during the supervision of the implementation of construction and erection activities;
• Assistance to the PIU for formal acceptance of the work progress and in particular completion certificate;
• Assistance in budget and cost control;
• On-the-job training of owner’s personnel;
• Preparation of reports, incl. quarterly progress reports, reports of delays (if any), final report.
