DISTRIBUTION SERVICE PROVIDER (DSP) PROJECT

The purpose of this assignment is to perform assessment of DSP Project between Electricite du Liban (EDL) and three electricity services providers (DSP’s) engaged by EDL to design, implement, operate, and maintain a distribution network with customer and metering services. The services includeplanning, design, and construction of distribution facilities; operation and maintenance, implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure-AMI, meter reading, bill collection, customer services, management and reporting.

Main scope of services:

• Project Task 1- Notices of Claims, Claims and Outstanding Issues related to the lost revenues in bill collection and violation removal activities, BoQ and KPI assessment and calculations;
• Project Task 2 – Pending Issues i.e. assessment of progress towards achievement of results in the AMI activities and
• Project Task 3 – Achievements and Project Objectives i.e. assessment of the current status and the time extension needed to achieve project objectives and protect EDL investment.
