ASSESSMENT OF GRID EVACUATION CAPACITIES OF TRANSMISSION NETWORK FOR WIND POWER PLANT INTEGRATION
ASSESSMENT OF GRID EVACUATION CAPACITIES OF TRANSMISSION NETWORK FOR WIND POWER PLANT INTEGRATION
This analysis aims to evaluate the grid evacuation capacity for potential wind power plants (WPPs) at specific locations in Macedonia outlined by the Client.
Main scope of services:
- Analyze of the Transmission Development Study, existing MEPSO Investment plans, and other relevant planning documents
- Wind power turbines modeling
- Calculation of the length of the connected line to the nearest 110 kV/400 kV substation
- Calculation of Grid evacuation capacity and the possibility of evacuating wind energy
- Presenting a single-line diagram for the selected connection point in the form of Load flow and illustrated power flows in the vicinity of the connection point
- Network analyses, including:
- Normal Operational Regime
- Contingency Regimes and N-1 Security Rule
- Acceptable Loading of the Transmission Equipment
- Acceptable Voltage Ranges in Transmission Grid
- Identifying regions most favorable for accommodating WPPs with the proposed installed power
