Our client LIDL started construction of a modern logistics center

With this announcement, we would like to congratulate to our client LIDL on laying the foundations of their first and largest facility in the country – Logistics Center, as  main Warehouse for packaged and palletizing food and industrial products. In the Recica industrial zone, near Kumanovo, the construction of the modern logistic center with high-tech implemented solutions in the design  began yesterday. The complex covers 17 hectares, and the building itself will have an area of 63,000 square meters.

Being with Lidl from their beginning in the country as their Consultant for development and then lead designer for the logistics center, side by side we have reached the realization of this chapter.

Colenco provided support for the Client in all stages of project development, including technical coordination with institutions and authorities, preparation of due diligences, support during negotiations and full scope of consultancy services during the entire project development process. It was Consultant’s responsibility to ensure that all procedures are in line with the national legislation and that the project development and further on the project implementation attend to the highest standards in the industry, while best cost optimized building details and solutions are reached.
