Consulting Services for Implementation Solar PV and Wind Support Programme in Macedonia

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Government of North Macedonia have agreed to cooperate on the regulatory and legal aspects of a programme to support solar and wind power in the country. Within this context, the Bank engaged a Consultant to provide comprehensive support to the authorities.

• Project I: Support in awarding the right to use premium for electric power generated from a photovoltaic power plants built on land owned by the Republic of North Macedonia over a period of 15 years.
• Project II: Support in awarding the right to use premium for electric power generated from a photovoltaic power plants built on land not owned by the Republic of North Macedonia over a period of 15 years.
• Project III: Support the Ministry of Economy to implement an auction for 100MW of solar PV capacity at the Oslomej mine site
  The project was financed by EBRD loan.
