COLENCO to Develop Desktop Base Study for wind power estimation for Planning Wind Power Plant Connected to 110 kV Transmission Network in Central South Macedonia
COLENCO Ltd Skopje is thrilled to announce its partnership with EDACS International dooel for a wind power plant development project in the central south region of Macedonia, near Krusevo. The collaboration was formalized through a Consultancy Contract signed on 20th July 2023.
The project’s primary objective is to conduct a comprehensive desktop pre-feasibility study for wind power estimation, including wind potential mapping and layout optimization. COLENCO’s team of experts will utilize cutting-edge technologies to identify high wind potential areas and optimize the wind farm layout.
The wind power plant is anticipated to have installed power of around 150 MW of renewable energy, contributing significantly to Macedonia’s sustainable energy goals. The plant will be seamlessly integrated into the 110 kV transmission network, ensuring efficient and reliable distribution of clean energy to consumers.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with EDACS International on this notable project in the central south part of Macedonia,” said Nikola Bitrak, CEO of COLENCO Ltd Skopje. “Our team is committed to harnessing wind energy’s full potential and supporting a greener future for the region.”
