Colenco representatives witnessed the selection of PV modules of Oslomej 1 PV Plant which will be tested in accredited laboratory
Last week the 37 modules, each one with installed capacity of 350 W, of the Oslomej 1 PV Plant were selected in order to be tested in the accredited laboratory TUBITAK in Turkey. The selection has been proceeded in accordance with the standard procedure in the presence of representatives from the investor, JSC Power Plants of North Macedonia – ESM, the consultant, COLENCO, the EPC contractor, GIRISIM and the accredited test body, SGS from Turkey. After testing of the PV modules they will be returned back in Oslomej site where the PV plant is going to be constructed.
The project is financed by JSC ESM with support by EBRD and it is going to be the first utility scale PV power plant in North Macedonia, with total installed capacity of 10 MW. The plant will be constructed on the area of the former lignite mine of the thermal power plant Oslomej. It is expected that the all project activates will be finalized in the first quarter of the 2021 and the PV plant will be commissioned in the same year.
