COLENCO Signs New Contract for the Belshi Solar PV Project in Albania

COLENCO has signed a contract with Korporata Elektroenergjitike Shqiptare (KESH) to provide Project Implementation Unit Support Consultancy Services for the Belshi Solar Photovoltaic Project in central Albania.

The EBRD-supported project involves a 50 MWp ground-mounted solar power plant, expected to generate more than 70 GWh of renewable electricity annually—approximately 1% of Albania’s average national consumption.

COLENCO will support KESH in establishing and strengthening the PIU, procurement and contract implementation, compliance and reporting, and environmental and social requirements. The assignment will also include knowledge transfer and on-the-job training, contributing to the project’s timely and effective implementation.
