Project Management Training under an EBRD financed project
On 29 September 2025, COLENCO, together with its partner VITA INSTITUTE Skopje, launched a two-week Project Management Training under the EBRD-financed project “Developing Energy Trading and Project Management Skills for ESM”, implemented within the Green and Economic Inclusion Technical Assistance Framework – Skills and Employment.
Promoting equal opportunities is a key pillar for fostering transition towards inclusive, market-oriented economies. Aligned with the EBRD’s Strategy for the Promotion of Gender Equality (2021–2025) and the Equality of Opportunity Strategy (2021–2025), the Bank has been working with its energy sector clients to strengthen inclusion in the workplace and expand access to professional learning—particularly for young people and women.
Through this initiative, COLENCO supports ESM in developing project management capacities. The program introduces recommendations and best practices to assist the company in its restructuring efforts, enabling more efficient and stronger project delivery. The training is designed to enhance access to market-relevant skills in the energy sector. It involves over 60 participants from ESM and the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources, with women making up more than 25% of attendees.
