Strengthening Capacity in FIDIC Contract Implementation and Project Management under the REDE Project
The Renewable District Energy (REDE) Project team successfully delivered a full-day training in Belgrade, Serbia, focused on FIDIC contract implementation, project management, and financial control for CPIU and PIU staff, as well as embedded experts.
The training brought together participants from 10 municipalities and district heating companies (DHCs), along with representatives from the Ministry of Mining and Energy (MoME).
The sessions focused on the practical application of the FIDIC Yellow Book for design–build contracts, covering key topics such as the role of the FIDIC Engineer, risk allocation, contractual milestones, and common implementation challenges.
Participants also strengthened their skills in project planning, progress monitoring, and EBRD financial management and disbursement procedures, supporting more efficient and compliant implementation of the REDE project.
