ESM FLOATING SOLAR PV PROJECT !

We are pleased to announce that the Consortium of  COLENCO Ltd Skopje and  Dornier Suntrace GmbH has been awarded the contract for the Feasibility Study & Preliminary Design of North Macedonia’s first Floating Photovoltaic (FPV) Project for AD ESM!

Supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank (EIB), this groundbreaking project will develop up to a 50 MWp floating solar plant on the existing reservoir of the Shpilje Hydropower Plant—representing the first FPV project of its kind in the country, showcasing a commitment to sustainable energy solutions and the diversification of the national energy mix.

By combining Colenco’s local expertise in technical, regulatory, and permitting frameworks with Dornier Suntrace’s global leadership in FPV solutions, we’re bringing together top-tier knowledge to ensure the highest standards in project delivery.

A successful kick-off meeting was recently held at the EBRD offices in Skopje, bringing together representatives from all project stakeholders and reinforcing a shared vision and commitment to the project’s success.
